I built a LEGO car to commemorate. I'm weird like that.
It's a stylization of the 1911 Gräf & Stift Double Phaeton Franz Ferdinand was riding in when he got shot (28th of June, 1914, 100 years ago).

I should get on finishing that Pikes Peak Tacoma that's been in a state of "finished but being improved" for a couple years now. Gah! I get all motivated to do something but I'm out of town right now. :/

That's amazing. We just finished watching The Lego Movie. I'm the dad, but without the glue. I'm a directions guy. I've never had the skill to create something like this from scratch. Nice job. Archduke Ferdinand would approve.

Here's some inspiration if you need it. A buddy of mine built this:

I actually first saw that a few years ago and that was my inspiration for starting mine. The front headlight/grille area has proven to be a bitch to get right, especially at minifig scale and with my limited part selection.

Awesome. Yeah that part could be hard, I suppose you've tried cheese slopes?

Yeah, but I'll probably start experimenting with it once I have access to it again.
When in doubt, cheese slopes.

When in doubt, 1x2 slope and jumpers
